YOUR SIMPLE GUIDE TO A SMOOTH EVENT EXPERIENCE
Register
Click "Register now" and follow the registration steps. You will receive an e-mail notification once your registration has been approved.
Prepare
- IMPORTANT: Please make sure to use Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome as your browser, we have some display issues with Internet Explorer
- Use a desktop computer or laptop with a reliable internet connection and good sound quality
- Check your personalised meeting schedule here
- Check your time-zone:
- Log-in and select "Edit my profile" to check your current time zone selection. If this is not the time zone you are located in during the event please change accordingly.
- On the day of the event, access the platform 5-10 minutes early, go to your Agenda and click on the session you want to join.
- Download the "b2match" mobile app (iOS/Android) to* get access to your meeting schedule via your mobile phone* be informed about last-minute changes (bookings, cancellations)* manage additional meetings on-site (send/receive/confirm requests)

REGISTRATION FEES AND CANCELLATION POLICY
The participation fee will be charged by separate payment notice (receipt, no tax invoice) as follows:
- Participation fee for members of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber: EUR 100,-
- Participation fee for non-members and others*: EUR 200,-
* “Others” include service providers like lawyers, freight forwarders, tax advisors, etc.
Participants accept the Conditions for Participation for AUSTRIA CONNECT.
Please register online before November 3, 2020. Seats are limited and priority is given to Austrian companies and their subsidiaries in China and Asia. There are only some seats for service providers and their registration can only be confirmed at a later stage.
Cancellation without penalty is possible until October 6, 2020. After this date and until October 27, 50% of the fee will be charged, after which 100% of the fee is payable. To cancel your participation, please go to your profile and click "cancel participation" on the bottom of the page or send an e-mail to shanghai@advantageaustria.org.

PREPARE FOR 1:1 VIDEO CALLS (Optional)
We encourage all our participants to book 1:1 meetings with other attendees. Check which profiles look interesting and send meeting requests accordingly.
- Check your audio quality, using a headset is highly recommended
- Use a good webcam to improve image quality
- Avoid connecting via your phone and use a reliable high-speed WIFI connection
- Test the 1:1 meeting function in advance: To make sure that everything is set correctly, please go to "Meetings" and click on the green camera button "Meeting starts in ..." - this will open the video call feature of your browser. You should be able to see yourself!
ON THE EVENT DAY
- RESPECT the other participants' time and show up to all your meetings.
- Close your Video Call meeting timely. Please leave the call in time as you or your meeting partner can have a subsequent meeting right after. A watch is indicating the remaining meeting time.
- If you cannot attend a meeting, please cancel through the platform. This way, the other participant will be notified.
